Achieving your
BRAND NEW BODY
Notes from our Program Director

Set Your Intention.

Be focused. Make a commitment to the program and stick with it. Create energy that everyone will feel and in turn, cultivate for themselves.
Consistency : “The Key to True Change.”  When Joseph Pilates made his promise that, “In ten sessions you will feel the difference, in twenty you will see the difference, and in thirty you will have a brand new body,” he wasn’t talking about doing Pilates once a week.  His clients came to him almost every day.  It was a different time, life was less hectic. A more realistic goal is 3 to 4 times a week for a one hour session. Done consistently the result will be dramatic

Transform Your Body, Transform Your Life
Try this: First Month Pilates and/or Yoga at least three times a week. Ten minute Mat Workout at home several times a week.  Create energy in your body: learn the exercises more quickly.  Your results will increase your motivation.

The Pilates Promise
With a consistent practice, you increase your metabolism, sculpt muscles and have a greater sense of well being.

Pilates & Yoga

Try moving onto the other mat, your yoga mat.  Much of Joseph Pilates’ technique was derived from his study of Eastern philosophy, which included yoga. The two are very different arts of body movement.  However, both use the breath as a tool to strengthen the core. Combining the two practices will bring your body true equilibrium. A lot of people have the misconception that you must be very flexible to do yoga.  There are many ways to modify your practice.  Increasing flexibility is a result of a steady practice.  With persistence, you will start to see your body unfold in amazing ways.
