Pilates Programs

Here at Boston Body Pilates we offer a fusion of Classical Pilates with contemporary variations and modifications for any fitness level and body type.  We are the New England Host Site for Balanced Body Education-the largest and most respected Pilates Certification program in the world.  For the last four years we have been awarded Balanced Body Top Domestic Host Site.  So you receive the benefit of highly trained instructors who are personally mentored by our Program Director, Zayna Gold.

We suggest you get started with an Introductory Private Lesson.  At the end of your session, our staff will help you choose the program that is right for your fitness level and fitness goals.  An Intro Private is a pre-requisite for all Equipment Classes.

Private Training:

Private Lessons at Boston Body Pilates are the ultimate personalized Pilates experience. Your 50 minute session targets your challenge areas and is designed to meet your specific needs. Clients with all different goals benefit from this one-on-one approach. For example, you may want a total body makeover, or you may be looking to rehab an injury. Your trainer and our entire studio is at your disposal. We encourage everyone to begin with an Introductory Private Lesson.

Mat Based Classes:

Mat based classes are for all levels-beginners through advanced.  Joseph Pilates referred to his Mat Workout as the “jewel” of his method and will help you achieve your Pilates Promise – 30 Sessions to a Brand New Body!  Pilates Sculpt with Props adds additional total body toning with resistance from the Magic Circle, Arcs and light weights to help you develop a tight, strong abdomen, firm upper body and great glutes. Our varied class formats keep your progress fresh and interesting! Our clients enjoy these classes so much that they don’t even notice what an intense workout they’re getting. Group Classes are not recommended for severe joint or back issues without a doctor’s clearance. If you have these medical issues we will start you off with Private Lessons.

Group Equipment Classes:

Intro Private required.  Use Equipment as an effective alternative to weight training.  Each class has a maximum of 8 students and is taught like a semi-private lesson.  Our studios use state of the art Balanced Body Equipment – considered to be the best Pilates Equipment in the industry. Private Lessons are required for those with serious joint and back issues.
